Wire Cut Works
Ak Mak Company is serving to it’s customers Wire Cut works and it’s being used on Ak Mak’s Blades & Machinery production.
The wire cut bench is used in the manufacture of many workpieces which are very difficult to make in the industry, and is widely used in mold making as well as in the manufacture of gears. Because it does not need to be grinded by a production of wire cut machine.
It is possible to process the workpiece by leaving a tolerance of the radius of the wire to the parts of any production which can’t be processed on other machines. In addition, too hard metals can be processed with the condition that electricity can be transmitted
Burr-free parts can be processed and the surface roughness is less than other manufacturing methods are the main advantages. Disadvantages are that the wire has a low stock removal rate and the cutter size is limited.
It is used in the manufacture of various types of mold elements and gears, in the processing of hard metal tools, in the processing of complex shaped and sensitive electrodes used in electro-erosion benches, in the production of cams running at high speeds.
Ak Mak Company is serving to it’s customers Sensitive Drilling works(with starting of 0,3mm drillings) and it’s being used on Ak Mak’s Blades & Machinery production.
The drilling process is one of the machining techniques and is to open cylindrical holes on the workpiece with specially produced cutting tools.
Hole punching is a name given to all of the methods of cylindrical hole punching with a tool that removes the chip from the workpiece. The term drilling is also used for short or deep hole drilling, as well as for various finishing operations such as broaching, reaming, countersinking, and rubbing (or polishing). The common point of all these operations is that the main rotational movement is carried out with a linear advance movement.
Hole punching involves the use of metal cutting tools for cylindrical hole punching in a workpiece.
Single 0.3 mm hole drilling in Bursa is done by our company.
